Drive to Succeed 2025: Off-Course & On-Track
Recapping this Year's Golf Outing
On Thursday, July 25, Gads Hill Center hosted our annual Drive to Succeed Golf Outing at Village Greens of Woodridge—and the skies opened up.
The morning brought steady rain, forcing us to pass up most of the planned contests and activities on the course. But true to the name of the event, the day was about more than just golf—it was about coming together in support of a mission that drives change in our communities every day.
Thanks to the generosity of our attendees and sponsors, we raised over $35,000 to support Gads Hill Center’s educational, workforce, and family-strengthening programs across Chicago. And although several groups braved the soggy conditions once the sun re-emerged later in the afternoon, Village Greens offered all golfers a complimentary voucher to return and play another day under sunnier skies.
Most of the day took place under the tent at the clubhouse, which quickly turned into a hub of warm conversations, laughter, and meaningful connection. Longtime supporters reconnected, new partnerships were sparked, and everyone had a chance to enjoy:
-
A delicious taco dinner (gracias a nuestro gran amigo Rodolfo)
-
Luis Gutierrez's lively leadership of the auction and raffle
-
Great company—all for a great cause
This year’s Drive to Succeed was a testament to the dedication of Gads Hill Center's community of supporters.

We extend heartfelt thanks to our event sponsors, our Golf Committee, and the full Gads Hill Center Board of Directors for their incredible effort in putting this event together. Your leadership and dedication made the day a success in every sense that matters.
To all who showed up—rain or shine—thank you for supporting Gads Hill Center and for standing with us in service of stronger, healthier communities.
