This spring, youth in Gads Hill Center’s Building Leaders program developed a Greenspace Project for the NCLR (National Council of La Raza) Innovation Lab, which empowers youth to drive social change through innovation. Their project, which draws attention to the lack of greenspace in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, won first place in the Innovation Lab contest.
